Sometimes it is better to let others do the talking. Awarding MAB Development the Janus du Commerce quality certification for Domus, the jury of the French Institut du Design stated that the shopping centre “represented a revolution for consumer choice in home furnishing items.” Our conviction that there was a place in the market for a new home furnishings retail concept was proven accurate, and Domus was the first shopping centre ever to receive this prestigious award.

Inspired by another successful MAB project, Alexandrium in Rotterdam, Domus accommodates 62,000 m² of leading brands in furniture, home design, garden supplies and accessories. On the 29th of October the flagship store of consumer electronics giant Saturn, has opened it's doors. In addition to shopping, Domus also offers restaurant facilities and lots of free parking. 

Inspired by a cruise ship and with a distinctive glass sunroof, the design makes for a welcoming atmosphere. Combined with a smart logistical layout and flow, this encourages the steady stream of visitors to linger long. The shopping centre is located in Rosny-sous-Bois, in the Greater Paris Area, and significantly boosted the area’s commercial appeal and economy.
