Opened in 2007, the constant streams of eager shoppers and diners seen at the Metzanine retail park testify to the success of smart planning and a clear concept.
Metzanine was the first retail park in the region of Metz to be dedicated to home furnishing and decoration. Just ten minutes drive eastwards from the centre of Metz, the park was designed to fit into a wider project aimed at enhancing the attractiveness of the overall shopping and commercial area.
In meeting this goal, MAB Development and Myard-Raoult Architectes, with whom we also partnered on the splendid Domus project in Paris, also ensured that Metzanine has a character all of its own. Around 15 different shops bring national and international brands together under one roof, creating a joint identity. Each of the medium-sized outlets is accessible from the external common areas. Metzanine also has four themed restaurants, which are always full at lunch and dinner times.
Metzanine has been granted the exclusive ValorPark label, issued by the National Council of Shopping Centres (CNCC). This recognises the fact that Metzanine meets the highest requirements in France with respect to architecture, customer service, supply, waste management and sustainable design.
