This exciting project will be situated in Floirac, a suburb of Bordeaux on the east side of the Garonne River. Famed for its vineyards and excellence in aeronautical technology, the Aquitaine region is also a magnet for international tourists. People will have more reasons to visit Bordeaux once Grand Arena centre is opened.

The shopping facilities will be primarily dedicated to household furnishing & decoration, culture, sport, leisure, a convenience store and restaurants. In addition to the sales area, a modular auditorium will be constructed capable of seating an audience. Architects for the project are Lanoire and Courrian.

The Grand Arena site has direct access from the Bordeaux ring road and central rail station. Fully visible from all areas of the city, and with a new bridge included in the urban development plan likely to connect the west of Bordeaux to Floirac, the prospects for the future are bright indeed. The catchment area of the new complex totals 1.3 million inhabitants.
