Les Allées Provençales offers a natural extension to the Cours Mirabeau, Aix-en-Provence’s premier shopping street.

Developed in partnership with the local authorities, Les Allées Provençales does justice to this French city’s slogan: ‘A source of inspiration’. Integrating some 15,000 m² of retail within the heart of historic Aix-en-Provence, Les Allées Provençales also offers a completely new pedestrian district, with housing and a large number of parking spaces. It also forms a vital part of the Sextius-Mirabeau quarter, which aims to enlarge the city centre by some 20 hectares.

Les Allées Provençales is located just 200 meters away from Place de la Rotonde. Famed for its fountain that dates back to 1860, this is the strategic point of Aix-en-Provence. The new development, completed in 2007, blends traditional shops with brand stores in a series of promenades. It is also connected to a theatre and an auditorium.

In 2008, its success has been acknowledged twice for “best shopping centre realised in 2007” by PROCOS (Expert federation for retail in France) and by CNCC (French National Council of Shopping Centers).
