Located in a prime spot at the heart of Frankfurt's inner-city, the Schillerhaus is a premium office building with complementary retail and residential areas.

Opened in 2003, the Schillerhaus replaced a 1950s building that reached from Großen Eschenheimerstraße over to Schillerstraße. It has become an attractive office, residential and business complex, and one of the most desirable sites in Frankfurt. There is a close architectural link between the Schillerhaus and the Zeil Project, part of Europe’s largest shopping mile, which is also being developed by MAB. Due to the varied use, this urban environment has been reanimated in its traditional context and the effects have radiated across the entire city of Frankfurt.

Designed by renowned Berlin-based architects León Wohlhage Wernik Architekten, the Schillerhaus has character and makes people the focal point. Exquisite and elegant architecture, with striking glass and a Mediterranean stonework facade, exudes a timeless urban flair and respects the height of the neighbouring buildings. Two staircases are cut into the building mass, providing a diagonal view through the block into an unexpected inner world of large ponds and lush vegetation. With its cubic crystalline courtyard, the central building maintains a closed working atmosphere within an environment of open views.

An exclusive roof terrace provides a view over the Frankfurt skyline, emphasising the convenient nature of the location. The stock exchange is just 200 metres away and the Chamber of Commerce, an exclusive shopping area and restaurants are also nearby. Parking facilities are abundant and the Schillerhaus is conveniently located close to the Metro and motorway. This is one of many reasons why MAB Development chose the Schillerhaus for its office in Germany.
