MAB Development to invest €100mn in the Königlichen Hof shopping centre in Moers (Germany)

MAB Development has been selected by the city council of Moers in Germany to develop the Königlichen Hof shopping centre. Some 100 million euros has been set aside for the project, which will see 15,000 m² of shops and between 5000 and 6000 m² of residences built in the city centre. Both will be supported by an underground car park for 1150 vehicles. Moers is located 40 km north of Düsseldorf.

H&M to open store in Amsterdam’s new oostpoort shopping centre

MAB Development Nederland, one of the partners in the Polderweg Area Development Consortium (OCP), has signed a rental agreement with retailer Hennes & Mauritz for a store of around 1,200 m² as part of the new Oostpoort shopping centre in Amsterdam. This transaction ensures that this new retail centre in the east of Amsterdam will have another major crowd puller. The development and construction of the Oostpoort residential and shopping area is led by the OCP consortium, which consists of Bouwfonds Property Development, MAB Development Nederland BV, Ymere and Stadgenoot.

Next phase started in construction of Oosterdokseiland project

On 14 January MAB Development started construction of the second lot on the island, which will house 12,500 m2 of office space, 83 apartments and a large food plaza including a supermarket. The strategic location in the centre of Amsterdam will eventually consist of a total of 80,000 m2 of office space, making it the largest office location in this area of the city.
