MAB sells esprit netherlands head office to hannover leasing
MAB Development Nederland BV and Hannover Leasing GmbH & Co. have agreed to the sale of the new Benelux Head Office of ESPRIT Nederland at the ‘Het Parc’ location in Amstelveen (NL).
Construction of the three-storey building with an available floor surface area of around 5,700 m² and 111 parking spaces started in September 2009 soon after MAB Development and ESPRIT came to a rental agreement for the new HQ and showroom.
“This transaction shows that the buildings with a high quality, the right user at unique location is attracting investors“ says Jeroen Galle, Director of Office Projects at MAB Development. “The confidence of Hannover Leasing in both ESPRIT as the occupant and the excellent location of the office have been decisive factors. The fact that ESPRIT asked for an excellent quality for their new Benelux Head Quarter and its eco-friendly carbon-neutral status also had a positive effect on its sales value.”
The building will be part of the MAB Development project Het Parc. This will comprise over 50,000 square metres of commercial space for offices, showrooms and business accommodations, including 700 parking spaces and excellent visibility from the major A9 motorway.
Colliers International supported Hannover Leasing in the sales process, and Loyens & Loeff in the legal opinion. MAB Development was supported by Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn in the legal opinion for the sales process.
Design and realisation
The building is designed by architectural firm Bekkering Adams and realised by Sprangers Bouwbedrijf from Delft.
